Privacy

Last updated October 20, 2026.

Beyond is a personal journal and wellness app. This page explains what we collect and how we use it. Using the in-app Contact us form is the way to reach us about privacy. We do not post a public inbox here.

What we collect

Account details you give us (name, email, password, or Apple / Google sign-in). Journal entries, check-ins, moods, emotions, and photos you add. Enneagram answers and results. Beyond Hurt workbook answers. Next list items. Purchase records.

How we use it

To run your account, save your writing, and unlock what you buy. Optional reminders you turn on in Settings stay on your device. We do not sell your journal or health information. We do not use it to train public AI models. Enneagram answers are stored as a self-reflection result. We do not use them to diagnose you.

Who else sees it

Payments go through Square (and Apple if you buy inside a native iOS app). Hosting and database providers store the app. Contact messages may be sent by an email delivery service. We share only what that work requires.

Your choices

You can export journal data as a PDF in Settings. You can delete your account in Settings, which removes journal entries, workbook answers, photos, and your login from this app.

Children

Beyond is not directed at children under 13.

Safety

This app is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or local emergency services.
